We are MOVING!

Hola everyone!

My silence in the past couple of months is due to the fact that I've been super busy packing.  We are moving to Austin!

Soon I will post some of the things I've learned during this process.  I have tons of tips and tricks for a smooth relocation experience.  Believe me, it's been challenging!

Talk to you soon!

Of course we had to have some beers and tequila!

After we got back to San Francisco, we enjoyed our last day in California, just fooling around the town.  So, we hit the go-carts...

Then it was time to say goodbye...

On our way home, back to Puerto Rico

We had so much fun on this vacation!  We really love California.  It is one of our favorite places to visit.  But the highlight of our trip, was meeting my good friend Yvette and her kids.  She is a Kidney Cancer survivor, just like me.  We have been talking on Facebook and on the phone for years, and this was the first time we were able to meet face to face.  It was magical!

A Gift for Grandma - Scrapbook Layout

Hola everyone!

Now that I showed you how I decorated the gift bags and some of the gifts I gave the mother's in my life for Mother's Day,  I have to show you my Grandmother's gift for that  occasion.

Grandma Scrapbook

My grandmother turned 83 this year.  These are pictures of her when we took her for lunch to celebrate her birthday.  Isn't she gorgeous?

I placed the layout in a 12 x 12 picture frame and I was lucky enough to find a box that could fit it.  I then decorated the box with ribbon and some flowers and ta-da!

This layout is one of the layouts I made to celebrate this past National Scrapbooking Day.

Hope you enjoy it and it inspires you to create!

Decorated bags and hand fans

Hola everyone!

Finally I am getting around to bloggin again.  I've been very sick with the Shingles for the past month and that was not fun at all!

However, right before I got sick, I was able to celebrate Mother's Day with my mom and my mother-in-law.

I bought these cute little bags for just $.25 cents!  Can you believe it?

bolsitas de regalo

I hot-glued some flowers and buttons to the bags and placed the gifts inside along with some mini gift tags I cut out with my Cricut.  They no longer look like $.25 cent bags, huh? :)

In the same little store I found these cute bags, I found these hand fans for just $1.00 and just made them pretier.

I hand-rolled some flowers, and the butterfly cut-outs from the little tags to decorate the fans.  Aren't they pretty?  Everyone was very happy with their fans and just loved them.

Just some ideas about not spending a lot of money to make some cute last minute gifts.

Hope that you liked them and that it inspires you to create.
